Habo

I can't believe it's more than a week since I got home from Habo. But it's been a really hectic one.
I did have a great time with friends and just enjoying the time away.
I finished my socks
and started my Rams and yowes, it will sure take some time to knit but will look the best when finished.
And I dyed some yarn with Jeaba colours.
It was hard to see what colour it would be when finished but I think they turned out quite ok.

This is where I spent most of the time
THANKS a lot to Anna and Carin (yes they are twin sister) and their daughters who helped out in the kitchen!
When I got home I had to start a Boxy after I had seen Anitas. Don't have a lot to do at all!

Friday night with Friends

Since I totally forgot about Friday Night Sew-in, I'm very pleased that Cheryll is launching her Friday night with Friends once a month.
At least I won't forget about this coming friday because I've already signed up! Just click the picture and do so you too.

My weekend will be fun!

I'm off to a knitting camp over the weekend.
Don't have to cook, clean or do the dishes. Just have to knit, chat and have fun!
This is the place wher I'll stay, beautifully located at the shore of the lake Vättern.

Have fun you too!

Over at Donna's

Donna is having a giveaway with Lecien fabrics and a quilt pattern. Go check it out at her Lavender Nest!

Socktober

I haven't knit any socks for a long time and since it's october I had to try Neely O'Hara by Liz Abinante. The thing is, if you knit at least 1 sock by the 16th (well that's tomorrow) you will get another pattern for free. So I did finish the first sock and have started the second one too.
It's a really nice pattern, easy to knit and the kind of heel that I like. And it fits perfectly!

Butterflies!

No, not in my stomach. They're actually on this cushion cover that's now whinging it's way over to Australia.

It's a swap held by Sue with QUILTED HUGS. And I can't reveal who's getting it until it's reached it's destination.
I found the sky fabric when I was in France last month. I had looked for some here but hadn't found any so it was perfect.
Now I only hope the new owner will like it! Could there be some butterflies anywhere? Don't think so, at least I am more than happy with it!

Last month I also won these 9 lovely FQs over at Very Berry Handmade sponsored by Backstitch!
It's the Bungle Jungle by Tim and Beck from Moda. It really is a nice line!
